sgm Art Therapy offers psychologically grounded support for adults, adolescents and children, with particular experience in questions of identity, transition, emotional pressure and complexity. Sessions are designed for clients seeking a reflective and professionally held space in which image-making, dialogue and psychological insight can work together.
Art therapy can be especially helpful when experience exceeds what can be easily put into words. Through image, symbol and reflection, it allows for a different mode of access to emotional life, internal conflict and emerging change.
I offer services internationally in German, Spanish, English and Portuguese, online and in person.
Individual Art Therapy
Individual art therapy offers a one-to-one therapeutic space for emotional processing, self-understanding and psychological change. It is suited to clients who wish to work with greater depth over time, whether around a specific difficulty or as part of a broader reflective process.
Sessions may support work around anxiety, emotional overload, identity questions, relationship difficulties, inner conflict, periods of uncertainty, or the wish to develop a more coherent relationship to oneself.
This format is appropriate for clients seeking sustained therapeutic work within a confidential and carefully structured setting.

Women in Leadership
This offering is intended for women working within demanding professional environments or carrying significant responsibility. It provides a therapeutic space in which external competence does not need to conceal internal complexity.
Clients often come to this work in relation to pressure, visibility, over-responsibility, decision fatigue, emotional containment, ambition, leadership identity, boundary questions or the tension between professional role and inner life.
My background in international strategic and creative leadership informs this area of practice and allows for a nuanced understanding of high-performance cultures, role complexity and the psychological dimensions of responsibility.
This is not coaching. It is therapy for clients who wish to reflect more deeply on the emotional and symbolic dimensions of work, leadership and self-positioning.

Art Therapy for Children and Adolescents
Art therapy offers children and adolescents a developmentally attuned space in which emotional experience can be expressed and explored beyond words alone. Through image-making, symbol and dialogue, it can support emotional regulation, identity development and the processing of relational or internal difficulty.
This work may be helpful in relation to anxiety, withdrawal, family transitions, emotional overwhelm, school-related difficulties, identity questions or periods of inner confusion. The process is adapted to the age, needs and readiness of each individual, within a safe and carefully held therapeutic setting.
Where appropriate, parental contact is included in a thoughtful and professionally bounded way.

“Our son used to avoid excursions, and now he goes without a problem. He also started painting at home, which has been lovely to see.”
parent“The difference was clear. The child had fewer social difficulties, joined group activities more easily, and seemed much more confident with others.”
Teacher“Through the sessions, not only did our child change, we changed too. We understood more, reacted differently, and that made family life much easier.”
